Snehavoluntary a non governmental organization has educated and empowered underprivileged children from urban slums in Srirampur. Our mission is not only to sponsor children’s education but also support them till they are gainfully employed.Sneha volutary is a growing organisation in every way: we began in 2000 with 9 children and now have 76 children with us as of 2006-2007. When we began, education meant paying the children’s fees and helping them improve their study skills. Now, the education that every child at Sneha gets is an all round development programme that ensures every child’s physical, mental and emotional Wellness.

We build families for children in need: We create LIFE Homes for children, who are abandoned or orphaned and do not have natural Families. Through our homes we promote family ‘bonding’, physical and mental health and social integration of these children, who were otherwise abused, physically as well as mentally. Udayan Care enables them to experience the ‘Joy of Living’.

We create opportunities for deserving girls: We support the holistic development of deserving girl students from weaker sections of the society through our 'Udayan Shalini Fellowship Programme' by providing them monetary help as well as mentoring.

We generate employment opportunities: We support the underserved communities by running vocational training and personality development programmes to empower them so they can become deserving and independent individuals with the ability to create a change in their own environment

We create volunteering opportunities: We provide a structured system for volunteers to contribute to the development of Udayan Care as well as the community. These individuals then, in turn, gain satisfaction in giving back to the society in a result – oriented and concentrated manner.
